A key component of Renegade thinking is starting with the problem, not the solution. As a result, our solutions can take almost any shape - from ads to websites to promotions to guerrilla to, well, some of it doesn't have a name yet.
We've got a couple of Renegades who actually think databases are sexy. And this is definitely a good thing, since databases are at the core of all our permission programs and many of our websites. Sure it's technical, but database development is actually one of the most personal areas of the web. It helps us to create sites that remember visitors and personalize experiences, making users feel as important to you as they really are. Add on our utmost respect for privacy issues, and you might come to think that databases are pretty sexy too.
